The International Society for Nutraceuticals and Functional Foods (ISNFF) is a Disciplinary Interest Group of the International Union of Food Science and Technology (IUFoST; approved 2008 in Shanghai, China). ISNFF was founded in 2007 and officially began its activities in 2008 by establishing its first journal, Journal of Functional Foods (JFF), published by Elsevier, as a cooperative initiative, and the Annual Conference and Exhibition (the first meeting was held in Taichung in 2008, Taiwan) as well as pre-conference and short course offerings. The Journal of Food Bioactives (JFB), is a recent dedicated publication that is published directly by ISNFF and Associates since 2018.
